SKILLS
3D CAD - Using Solidworks and SolidEdge to generate your 2D drawings and or 3D models which can include assemblies with exploded views and 3D photo realistic renders prior to a physical parts.
3D Scanning - Shining3D's Freescan Combo and Einscan Pro scanner.
Reverse Engineering - 3D scanned data and software QuickSurface, Mesh2Surface for Solidworks & Geomagic for Solidworks to help reverse engineer obsolete and unique parts .
DFM - I aim to offer Design For Manufacture with an aim to keep future production costs down.
3D Printing - Prototyping, Concept either designed by us for 3D printing or supplied to us as an STL 3D printable file. Some models can also be 3D printed as end use parts.
CNC Machining - I am a time served apprentice and concentrated a lot of my machining skills on CNC Milling.
CMM - I have experience operating and programming Mitutoyo CMM's and the COSMOS software.
